COMICPALOOZA is Houston’s epic annual pop‑culture celebration—held since 2008 at the George R. Brown Convention Center—that brings together comics, sci‑fi, anime, gaming, cosplay, literature, tabletop games, podcasts, and more. DEEP GRAY® is responsible for COMICPALOOZA’s brand identity, marketing materials, official merch, event signage, commercials, and a range of other epic opportunities to race hearts and build hype.
As Texas’ premier comic con and pop culture fan fest event, COMICPALOOZA is bursting at the seams with fun activities for the whole family. Typically held around the Memorial Holiday Weekend, COMICPALOOZA is three days of celebrity guest appearances, epic cosplay, gaming, entertainment, unique attractions, and a showfloor packed with 400+ exhibitors selling artwork, handcrafted goods, comic books, rare collectibles, merch, and much more.
Not just an annual event, COMICPALOOZA is a Houston tradition for many. Drawing fans of all walks of life from across the 50 states and around the world. Play games, people watch, shop ‘til you drop, learn new skills, or get addicted to new hobbies at a variety of informative panels and demo areas ranging from space exploration, robotics, leatherworking, painting, book binding, literature, or any number of other activities centered around pop culture fandoms.
